I am directed to inform you that he has received a note from the Spanish Minister at this Court, stating that Don "Leon Checa" has been appointed Danish Consul at Hongkong; and requesting that Her Majesty's Exequatur may be issued to that Gentleman to enable him to act in the above capacity; and I am to request that you will inform Lord Granville if there is any objection to the issue of such Exequatur to Señor Checa, who is now Consul at Singapore.
